This is a spec TV spot I directed, based on a concept I developed with copywriter Stan Raymond while freelancing at CKS Partners. YakBak 2 was a toy that allowed one to record sounds or one’s voice and slow down or speed up the playback to funny effect.

The concept took the notion of someone, who otherwise had all of the requirements to be a superhero except for his uncharacteristic voice, who uses YakBak 2 as part of his toolkit… or utility belt.

This was shot on 16mm film and edited on the Media 1000.
